International President

    Dear VSSS Family,
A wise man very rightly said "when the going gets tough, the tough get going", and we all are undoubtedly going through very trying times as of now, and this is the very moment that we must not let our guard down, because I am of the firm opinion that when it comes to toughness, we Sindhis are second to none.
Now is the time that we need to prioritize. Sure, family always is paramount, as is health, fitness and overall well-being, so go right ahead, spend quality time with your family, take time out for exercise and meditation, but also it is pertinent to remember that you have an extended family in VSSS which also needs you, your unwavering dedication and involvement, which makes it imperative that we set aside time for VSSS as well.
Even under the given circumstances, the VSSS is continuing to take giant strides towards achievement of our goals and fulfillment of our aims and objectives and we cannot, rather must not, allow this pandemic to be an excuse in the way of a dedication, devotion, commitment and result oriented involvement towards Sindhis and Sindhiyat the world over.
We must understand that we need to leave a rich legacy for our incoming generations because, sadly, our current generation has lagged way behind has fallen way behind when it comes to our beloved culture, language, attire and script, with most of us able to merely speak and understand but unable to write in our mother tongue.
So we need to redouble our efforts to make sure that our incoming generation is proudly conversant with our language, rich cultural heritage, our attire and even our delectable cuisine, all of which are unique in their own right. We also need to motivate and ensure our youngsters go that extra mile when it comes to Sindhis and propagation of Sindhiyat at every given opportunity without even a semblance of a crease on their brow. We need to remember and be extremely proud of the fact that we are Sindhis first and Sindhis last and we should have a personal motto of "We for Sindhis, Sindhis for us".
We are in a much better place today, now that a number of different Sindhi organisations have also decided to hop on to the VSSS bandwagon and we are indeed blessed and fortunate to be in a position to work in tandem with them, take the benefit of their experience and channelise it to further the cause that we espouse which will go a long way in helping us achieve our aims and objectives in double quick time.
It is rightly said that there is no time like the present to get going and now is the time as good as ever to pull up your socks, lace your boots and go hammer and tongs to make sure that every Sindhi, anywhere in the world wants to be associated with VSSS.
Stay safe, stay blessed, stay positive, stay optimistic and stay focused.
    Jai Jhulelal
